Vizi uses layers 3, 7, 11 and 15, sampled every minor third across A0–C8.
Recordings remain stereo, 48 kHz, 24-bit and losslessly compressed. Vizi bounds
long tails at 18 seconds below C3, 12 below C5 and 8 above, with a two-second
fade at the end. Playback removes 4 ms of pre-roll and blends adjacent dynamics.
Felt adds a softer tone and slower damper response to the same recordings.
No per-sample normalization, pitch correction, or lossy encoding is applied.

These are sample-based voices, not a complete emulation of the original SFZ's
pedal resonance, release samples or sympathetic string model.

Reproduce the bank: `python3 scripts/prepare-piano.py`. `manifest.json` records
source paths, sizes and SHA-256 hashes of the distributed files.
